Miss Stephanie  Jonzon

Hello! My name is Stephanie Jonzon, and I am thrilled to be joining the Wildwood community as the Kindergarten and Grade 1 teacher for the remainder of the school year.

I recently graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a combined degree in Education and Social Sciences, focusing on geography, history, and psychology. My journey through teaching has been enriched by experiences in various grades, with a particular love for fostering curiosity and creativity in early learners.

In my classroom, I strive to create an inclusive and welcoming space where each child feels valued and encouraged to grow. I integrate play-based learning with a focus on social-emotional development, believing that young learners thrive when they feel confident and connected.

Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about exploring nature, country music, crafting natural remedies & spending time with my dogs. These hobbies often find their way into my teaching, inspiring creative lessons and hands-on learning opportunities.

I am excited to collaborate with the wonderful staff, students, and families at Wildwood School to make this year engaging and successful for all.
